dealer false advertising

Dealer, Star European Imports of Yorkville, IL  is advertising a vehicle that is not
available or does not exist .  Why are dealers allowed to advertise vehicles that
do not exist or not available for sale? This conditions waste the consumer time
and under mines the integrity of the advertising process.

there are tons of scams in advertising / marketing. ESPECIALLY with home rentals/ cars, etc. Remember the dealership that stole cars from his own lot to get the insurance benefit?? He's doing prison time for that one. When a supermarket has a sale going on with an item ( ads change every week) a separate items price will be raised ( or several items raised) to make up for the loss of the ad. Grocery stores are designed to make money and sell items .. or close. So, really they are making more money in one fashion or another. Secondly.. if a store is a private enterprise, they don't have to report losses or profits. Good luck on your car search
