I’d listen for grinding noises coming from the AWD unit.

You don't want it! You'll be plagued with never ending check engine light problems that can't be fixed, accessories that don't work, or will soon break. My neighbor has had two late model Cadillacs. She dumped both before they were paid for because she had so many problems with them. Today a Cadillac is nothing more than GM junk! Hope that helps! Jim
