Basic start.. Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.

As Auto_Centric said have the Codes check, it could be the transmission speed sensor.

So I have had the check engine light read before and it said something about the transaxial temp. It is an automatic so the clutch isn't it.

Hi Rwyant01, I have the exact same issue with my car. Hyundai Tucson Limited 2011. Sometime when I drive, the ECO light goes off and then it shifts really badly when I accelerate or brake. It does this until the ECO light comes back. For some reason, only does it during the summer. Was your issue resolved? How did they fix it?
