04 hyundai sonata 2.4 fuel pump issue
Brand new fuel pump installed along with CPS. When I turn the
ignition on, there is I light clunk or tick if you will ( not drastic ), that
sounds like it's coming from under the fuel tank and another tick
under the hood. The fuel pump is audie after cranking engine like its
back wards. NORMALLY, you hear the pump engage and runs until
the pressure built correctly at the fpr. Furthermore, the engine cranks
, sporadically fires and runs, but only until the idle comes down. As
soon as it gets to approx. 900rpms it dumps out and the engine dies.
However, it can be kept running with starting fluid, but if throttle is
pressed at all, it kills the engine right now. Is it possible to have the
pump wired backwards??
