2002 I35, getting code 507, higher than expected rpm, I cant get the car to go into the throttle relearn procedure. Even replaced the throttle body. Any thoughts?

There can be a few reasons for the code to keep coming back even if the part was replaced: Dirty throttle body. Electric throttle control actuator incorrectly adjusted or damaged Faulty electric throttle control actuator. Intake air leak. Poor electrical connection to the Intake Air Control (IAC) valve. If there are no intake leaks, clean throttle body well, adjust engine idle and erase engine code.
Thank you. I will check your recommendations. As for adjusting the idle isn't that set by the ECM, I don't see any mechanical adjustments.
The idle can no longer be adjusted manually, as in the early 1970's and before. For example, my 1957 Ford Fairlane has a four barrel Holly carburetor, I can adjust the air intake and idle by hand, but this was much too easy and inexpensive.
