When I start my 1991 Mustang it will turn over, I step on the gas and it will rev to 3000 RPM's and cuts off.

i have a 2000 ford mustang v6 guages went crazy when i backed up and the car died, put it park - restarted it. ran fine till i put in drive, guages bounced between max and minimum then it died again and now will not start. the remote trunk key chain - when i push to unlock the trunk or any of the other functions make the relays click under the dash. so is it my relays or something else 3 Answers
