Power window on Driver side not working at all. Any Ideas on how to fix it? Its a 2000 ford mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I bought a new motor and regulator and plugged it in, and Still nothing. Can't be a fuse
because passenger window is working fine. When you hit the window up and down button
you can here a clicking sound (Sounds like its coming from the fuse box) which makes
me think the button is fine. You think it could be a electrical problem, Like the motor isn't
getting power? If so how would I go about fixing that?

It might be a bad contact in the switch.
Most common cause, especially in a 14 year old car, is wiring from BCM to door from hundreds or maybe even thousands of open/close of door
Ford - window switch - the one that get all the rain and the wear and tear. BTW - because something else works is never a true verification of why something else should work. Always check it out - never assume.
I here clicking , what could it be
Clicks under the dash when you hit the switch what's the problem
Same problem here. Anyone have a fix?

Hey, I've had my drivers door window repaired 3x's in 3 years. When I gets to be summer I start to smell something burning for about a week off and on and then the window starts to have trouble going up and down. Now I'm a dweeb opening my door at drive-through's cause I keep forgetting. I'm heading to an electrical mechanic again. I've had the motor, the relay and some other gadgets and gizmos replaced. Any advise would be appreciated. 2004 Mustang
I have the exact same issue in my 2004 mustang. I've replaced the motor and switch and still doesn't work correctly.
I have the exact same problem. Even changed window wiring harness and still get the click sound but wont roll down. It is definitely not the switch, motor, or regulator either.
i took the door panel off my window was down and would not come up i could hear the click when i press the switch so took flat head screwdriver at the bottom of the door there are holes gently pry on bottom window track and held the switch button the up side and just like magic it work and still works
Has anyone ever figured out a fix for this? Thank you

Bro I just ran into this problem in 107° weather. No ac. Passenger window rolls down, not the drivers, and I hear the clicking..... I just wanna rip my hair out at this point.
To determine if it's your switch or motor, take 2 wires, tie then into the battery, then unplug the motor connector abs apply direct power from the battery in forcing the motor to work, i found my switch is good, my motor is good, but I'm not getting power to the window motor clip. No power going to the 2 sided clip going to the power window, that's where in stuck at
Its the black control box under the dash left side of the fuse box with all the electrical connections going to it. Its a pain in the rear to get out too
I’m having the same problem as I’m typing this can’t seem to figure it out any idea

Hello everyone I have a 2000 Ford Mustang GT and my drivers side window and everynow and then passenger side window does this. What has allways worked for me grap the window at top and pull back and push forward a couple of times and mine will work again for a 6 months to a year but it always works. If you can here that clicking sound and all other windows work from drivers side them most likely the window is just in a jam. Seems like rhis common problem in mustangs. If this helps anyone please let me know Rick.
Rick I’m trying this today thanks

Ok figured out why drivers goes up but not down. There’s a box at back of door panel, it’s what controls the automatic down. I swapped it out and fixed mine, already replace $60.00 motor
