Steering column

I have a 2000 3.8 5speed, And i just replaces my steering
column, but the steering column was out of an automatic
but hooked up perfect. But whenever you go to start it it
wont even try to kick over?

If one was an automatic you should check the wiring and figure out which wires to jumper to complete the circuit , standard shifts have a clutch pedal in no crank if out switch

Security system!! You will need a Ford dealer to straighten this out.
