Mazda 3 Sport Brake pads and rotors replacements

Hello Everybody!

I was wondering if someone could help me with a quote I got for brakes pads
(all 4 of them) + the two rotors replacements.

The price is in CAD and includes labour. It is currently at CAD$580+taxes.
Way better than my original dealership that was asking for a
CAD$1100+taxes! But being a noob with cars, I am wondering if this is a fait
price?

My car has 58000+ kms. It is a 2015 Mazda 3 Sport.

It depends on what brand of rotors and pads they are using as well, but that isn' the biggest price, it's all labor cost. Get a third quote if you think $580 is too high. But that is a fair deal. If you did it yourself, the price for parts would be around $200.

Price a PowerStop brake kit with rotors and pads. Probably about half the $580. This leaves enough for about 2 hours of shop labor.

Thanks guys for your honest answer. I really appreciate it. May I ask if it would be worth it to just order the parts online say on RockAuto then just find a garage to install it? Pads + rotors. If so what brand would you recomment in the middle price range? Thanks again for all your help!
