Mazda 3 sounds like it is starting and then dies. What wrong?

Out of the blue my Mazda 3 won’t start. I turn the key it sounds like it is
starting and then it just dies. It never gets to the point of actually running.  At
terry seems fine. It cranks and cranks without loosing any juice.
