Subaru jump start and dead key!!!!!

Asked by GuruKHBZH Dec 09, 2019 at 08:30 PM about the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Premium AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 2016 subaru cross trek has a push to start egnition. I went to drive it and
the key wouldnt unlock the car. I replaced the battery ( and the car was giving
me low key battery warnings before) and tried to pair the key to the car but it
would not work. I dont know if the car battery is dead too so I tried jumping it
but nothing happens. Can I jump the car with an unpaired key fob?
