There is risk involved when dealing with a vehicle that has been salvaged, that being in that you dont always know why the car was salvaged, the extent of the damages it has incurred, and if it was repaired properly by a professional or just made to appear so. That being said there are advantages as well. If you know the full extent of the damages and ensure it is repaired properly its quite possible and even quite common to obtain a car for a fraction of the market price. You wouldnt beleive some of the reasons a car is considered "a complete loss" by an insurance company resulting in a salvage title status. If Im able to afford a car thats only 2-3 years old with 30-40000 miles on it because it incurred hail damage or was rear ended and had its bumper and trunk lid replaced Im all for it. The problem lies in knowing that is the extent of it. At Global Auto Sales we purchase the car damaged (typically no mechanical damage, no airbag deployment and no frame damage) and have it repaired by certified professionals, we can even show you pictures of it before the repairs were done. And provide a 3 month/3000 mile warranty to ensure extra peace of mind.
