Lowering Kit
Asked by LLB4E Jan 14, 2018 at 07:13 AM about the 2017 Audi A4 2.0T quattro Premium AWD
Question type: Car Customization
Recently bought an Audi A4 that already had the lowering
kit installed. Realized that I am not a fan of it as it
changes the way I drive. Am I able to get the car lifted
back to regular factory setting height?

Thanks Tom. Will parts and labor cost a lot? Also, would it be better to take it to an Audi dealership for this?
Bummer. The dealership said something about “springs” when I mentioned the lowness of the car. But will take it to the dealership. My concern is the front end scraping or getting dinged going through speed bumps or train tracks.
it likely had just replaced the springs when they lowered it. You can go to a performance shop and they might be better off doing it then the dealer. when they do just the springs they usually have to pull the strut apart. If you bought the car off some one personaly you might considering asking if they kept the old springs other wise i would jsut go to ECS and grab a new set of performance coil overs and do it your self at home with a set of jack stands and a jack. all you need is a coil depressor and you can save yourself some money. i saw a set of coil overs for like 1200$ that were performance grade with stock hieght
oh and i forgot if it was lowered then the alignment will be off. I would take it to audi to have it aligned after that. I had mine aligned 5 times before taking it to audi and it was finaly done right.
Thanks for the comment. I will take it into Audi dealership. I have zero knowledge about cars or fixing cars and would rather have it corrected the first go around. ‘Preciate it.
