2005 Infiniti G35x AWD

Car cuts off randomly. Stalls while I’m driving like
it’s about to cut off. I have to give it gas for it not
to. Slip light comes on sometimes. VDC engine
light only came on once. Replaced both camshaft
sensors and the crankshaft sensor. Put on new air
filter too. Still having the same issues. Please help!
I don’t know what else it could be!

I have the same issue. Car shuts off randomly then I would have to restart it. Takes a few cranks to start then slip light comes on with vdc light. Haven't changed camshaft or crankshaft sensors yet. Read it could be fuel filter. 2005 g35 coupe

I had spmething simular. I had vdc and slip lights come on as well as engine service light. Took it to my mechanics to read code. He said replace crankshft sensor. I did and everything works now. My friend had simular issue. Was told to reppace just a camshaft sensors thetr are 2 of them one on each side of engine. When he ordered parts and installed it still had issues. Turned out he installed crankshaft sensor for camshaft sensor. They look super identical. And easy to confuse. So, maybe make sure you installed the right sensors in the right places because althought they look so alike they work differently. Good luck!
