how to remove stains on paint from tire dressing

I just bought a new white Honda Accord.  I used a silicon based tire dressing,
which spattered onto the white paint of the car body.  After cleaning the car I
noticed that there were small yellowish-brown stains in the paint that can not
be removed.  It seems that the discoloration is embedded into the paint, not
just on the surface.  Is there anything that can remove these stains, or am I out
of luck.  Also, will water based tire dressing do the same thing, or is it just
isolated to silicone products?

Small amount of WD-40 in on a microfibre cloth may remove the stain. I hate tire dressing.
