Should all four wheels be spinning at once in 4 wheel HIGH or is it "limited slip differential"? If so please provide explanation on how that works., Also provide info on 4-W Low how to engage.

all 4 wheels wont spin in 4 high.. in 4 low they will... if anything the particular truck may have a limited slip diff in the rear which works when one wheel spins then the other wheel will kick in to help get the truck moving and will also kick in if you are moving in reverse. other than these 2 circumstances there is really still only 2 wheel drive... meaning that one rear wheel is driving while the opposite front wheel is driving as well. .. as for putting the truck into 4 low.. you must be at a complete stop.. if you have an automatic it must be in neutral. i have a standard 4wd and you also have to be stopped with both your foot on the brake and foot with the clutch on the floor or it will not shift. but mines a 97 and im not too sure how the newer ones work. hope this helps

I would think that the LSD would only be when its in two wheel drive because when I have my ranger in 4 high all four wheels are spinning simutaneously and when I put it in four low it's also doing this. But I'm not 100% sure. I think it would have a possi front and rearend. As does mine.

I have a 2007 Ranger and it has LSD in 4 high and 4 Low is so slow one can walk along side 4 low is for climbing hills or pulling out tree stumps
