Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm having problems cranking my Infiniti like I have to hold the key back for a little while then it will crank up. Could it be my batyery?

Say what? If you have to manipulate the key to make the car start your ignition switch is probably at fault.

Okay sir thank you. When I asked someone they said it was probably the battery or something like that but yeah I have to turn the key and hold it for a couple seconds then it'll start but if I dont give it some gas it'll cut completely off.

Maybe I misunderstood your question. If you have to crank the engine over for a long time for it to start you should tune it up.
