Infiniti G35 Coupe Front Window and Door Lock Broken

Asked by jsslive May 29, 2014 at 07:11 PM about the 2003 INFINITI G35 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If anybody can help me out here, it would be much appreciated.

I have a 2003 g35 coupe and the Front Driver Side Automatic Door Lock and Power
Window seem to be broken or malfunctioning.

1) When I lock the car with my key fob the Driver Side Door doesn't seem to have the
strength to lock (on occasion).

2) In addition the Driver Side Power Window will not roll up/down. At first it started to
try to roll down, but stuttered, then died completely. Now nothing happens when I try to
roll the window down.

Does anybody know what the problem is? Hopefully one new part will fix both issues?

Thanks again!

You need to have the window motor replaced. I recently had to replace the motor in each door of my G35 coupe. Also, you need to make sure the window switches still work. Hope this helps.
