Throttle body issues

Asked by Heather Dec 05, 2016 at 06:58 PM about the 2002 INFINITI I35 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If a throttle body/ throttle position sensor/ throttle
actuator has gone bad could it still rev up just fine
in park and neutral but stall in drive or reverse? My
car will rev up just fine without issue in park amd
neutral but in drive or reverse the rpms drop low
won't move and usually dies out after a minute or
less. Once it dies it usually wont start again for a
few hours.
