Asked by 98silverado98 Oct 21, 2018 at 08:30 PM about the 1998 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab Stepside 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i replaced the whole fuel pump assembly on
the truck. after replacing it, i go back the next night
and turn the key and the truck starts right off and
then dies. i go to start it again and same thing. on
the third time it didn't even start up. just turns over.
i have tested the spark plugs and they are
sparking.  i know the fuel is making it to the motor
but how far, i have no clue. and help would be
greatly appreciated!
