which fuse is for the trailer lights on 1998 chevy 1500 pickup?

I have 1998 c1500 and the trailer lights no longer work but do work when I pull
with a diff pickup.

You need a multi tester to see what has power/ground and what don't . All electrical connections should be clean and tight . Brake light may share a bulb with the directional strange as that may sound
