Start/running

Question type: General

Helped rebuild a 350 V-8. Won't start. Starter
turns & turns the motor. No spark, check
spark, check coil , change coil. No spark,
check fuel & time.. On both accounts, are a
yes....? Check ground, check volts..
Cross fingers, stand on one foot while
chanting to the toothless God of aunty Emm!

I've tried. Please someone provide a match..

Well you need spark. So make sure the cap & rotor are in good shape, and that the distributor is planted correctly. You know, bringing #1 to TDC on the compression stroke and plant the dizzy in with the rotor pointing at the #1 contact inside the distributor cap, not at #1 distributor cap tower? So if that is not the problem then all you have left is the Ignition Control Module or the crankshaft sensor to look at.
