95 Chevy Silverado C1500 Engine Bay Connector

Asked by Sthrn_Tradey Jul 28, 2018 at 04:07 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently found a two wire connector located outside of the
large cable bundle that goes into the engine bay fuse box.
The wire colors are green and light green/ white stripe.  The
light green /white stripe was cut and the other was stripped
bare in a few places but still in tact.  I repaired the wires but
have no idea at this time, what the wire is used for.  Also,
the solid green wire is a heavier gauge than the light green/
white stripe.  I'd say they're about 14 ( solid green) and 20 (
light green/ white stripe )gauge.  If anybody can point to a
diagram or simply happens to know the answer that would
be great.  I'm gonna put tone on the connector and trace
the path, but I can't get to it today.  Attached are pictures of
the described.

Another view of the connector. It's a single connector that pops out from the large fuse box cable feed then diverts around the fuse box and goes into the grill area by the headlights. It eventually dives downward behind the bumper area.
