Will a 2001 chevy tahoe engine go in a 95 chevy c1500

Nope, the 2001 model is OBD II but the 95 model could be either OBD I or OBD II. My advice with anything like this on a 1995 model GM is junk it and move on! There's too many variables with a 95. It's not worth the headache. Especially when the vehicle is 26 years old!! Jim
I got the engine in it to crank. It wasn't seized after all I just needed to left alone for a bit to figure it out. Has a knock now thinking of rebuilding thanks though Jim.

You're welcome. Glad to help! Glad to hear you got it running at least! Rebuilding the original engine is definitely an option. Good luck to you! Jim
