Engine timing

Can't find spout connector under
dash or hood . Disconnect coolant
temp sensor to set it now runs
like crap. What do I do?

timing is set by the computer , if you manage to turn the distributor you're just offsetting the cam/crank sensor out of synch

I finally found spout connector it was taped to the dash harness was hard to find got timing set runs like a champ. Thank you.
