Will the 5.0 fit in place of 4.3 with out changing anything else

I have a 91 chevy 1500 with a 4.3 v6 motor
locked up and I found a 5.0 engine will it work
with out changing any thang else out

What year is the 5.0 out of ? In 95 they started putting the key chips and transponder in , I've heard a v-8 is just a V-6 with two more cylinders but the computer will have to go with the 5.0 and I would keep that vehicle around till you get things running , either way you're in for some problems . If you like the truck that much rebuild the motor and if you want more power get a truck that has what you want .

Not changing any thing else? Those V6 exhaust manifolds are going look funny on a V8.
