do my 99 infinity g20 have a shut off switch

car had hose the busted . i patch it up to drive it home it kept cutting off  i had to wait to it cool off but now i have to put the pedal  to floor to crank it up but it keep cutting off what could be the problem

If it was a cooling hose and it hot hot, u probably busted a head gasket, if it was ur cutoff switch, it wouldn't even start. Do a compression test
