2000 ford taurus 3.0 liter engine cranks but wont start
Hello, so one evening I got gas and I got about a mile
from the gas station and all of a sudden all off the
light on the cluster came on the steering got stiff and
the car died, so I pulled to the side and immediately
thought the alternaror was the culprit so i took it to
autozone they tested and said it was good so I had
the car towed home and bought a brand new battery
because it was pretty old, but the car still just
cranked and would not start, I tested the fuel pump
which it still powers on and sprays fuel out the test
port so its good, but the car still just cranks, so I just
went ahead and changed both the crank shaft and
cam shaft censors, and also the coil pack incase it
was a spark issue,(I paid 20 dollars a piece for these
parts brand NEW thats why i bought them) but
anyways the car still just cranks and wont start , I
even drained the tank thinking that it could be. Bad
gas and put fresh fuel in but it still just cranks, I even
took the old fuel and put it in my work car but its not
the fuel so Im at a loss because i dont know what
else to do I havent towed it to a shop because im
pretty handy and dont want to over pay for what i can
do so if anyone has any advise or have went through
this problem I would appreciate some help
