Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i drove my car to the store. Car was off maybe 20
minutes.  When i tried to start my car is said going in to
power saving mood and shut off. It did this 5 times. I got a
new battery.  All my lights work radio works everything
works. My car cranks and kinda keeps cranking untill i turn
the key off. So if i just try to start the car and let go of the
key it keeps cranking. Im lost i do not understand this.
Please help!!!!!!!

Sounds like you have a problem in the key switch hanging up holding power on you starter causing it to keep cranking can lead to drainage of your battery or. Damage to your car if it isn't fixed

Ok. Thank you i will look in to it. Would that go out all of a sudden like that?? It has always cranked like that but would start after first crank. Now it just turns and turns with no start. I can hear the fuel pump turning on. Could my car be stuck on the shit down mode? Im sorry i know nothing about these all electronic cars.

Yes we did finally figure it out. It was saying my computer was fried but what it actually was.... i had to buy 2 new keys and get them reprogrammed. My old keys was sending the wrong signals to the computer.
