Go to this link. It will teach you how to properly adjust your S.U. carbs. Excellent article and I could not have given you better instructions. Good luck. http://www.mgaguru.com/mgtech/carbs/cb130.htm
Here is the other link I was looking for: http://www.gerull.nl/mg/technics/carb/carb_tuning.html
I hope this photo comes through but I don't see it now. This is what the Unisyn looks like.
idle is adjusted at 950, when i take and drive it the idle jumps to 1500 and won't come down. before this started it was running fine and then i got like a vapor lock so they say and it's been running like crap, can adjust it all the time but still climbs back up there. what would cause this?

In answer to the question about adjusting the idle, I had a similar problem with my B GT a few weeks after I bought it. The weather turned very hot and after a run the idle speed woold be 1000 - 1500 rpm. Due to the lack of use for several years before i got it off the vendor, the throttle spindle was sticking in the body of the cars. The hot weather and the heat of a hot engine caused the spindle to expand and stick instead of closing fully and allowing the idle speed to be 800 - 700 rpm. Just keep squirting light oil on the spindle where it enters the carb body at laest once a week and it will free up. BTW, I recommend Wynnes Carburettor Cleaner. Remove the air filters and squirt it down the carbs one at a time with the engine running at about 1200 -1500 rpm. The instructions on the can are very clear.
