2001 trooper won't start after running out of gas

Trooper ran out of gas. New gas was added but the engine will not fire.

Most likely the fuel pump is burned out. The gasoline flowing through the pump cools and lubricates it. When you run out of gas the pump can overheat and burn out very quickly. Hope that helps! Jim

Most likely burned out the fuel pump. When you do replace the pump make sure you replace the filter and relay at the same time.
