I accidentally reset the remaining oil percentage in my chevy cruze not
knowing what it is for. I don't remember the actual percentage of the oil in my
car. Should that be a problem? Is there a way to get back the actual value?

Change the oil every 5,000 miles and forget the dash reminder.
