My 2000 LS V6 Rodeo cracked a cylinder, I have a 1999 V6 engine. Can I swap out the 1999 engine and put it in my 2000?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The tranny in the 2000 is good, only the engine is shot. I just do not now if they
are the same or very different in one year and can easily transfer the 1999
motor into my 2000 body

Long as there the same engine, all the hook-ups and plugins are the same you shouldn't have a problem.
