I have everything else removed in preparation for changing my clutch, I just need to know how to remove the shifter.

I have a 1999 isuzu trooper that occasionally upon starting out from a stop in 1st gear the tranny slips and grabs instantly and squeeks the tires and takes off. If I start off very gently it doesn't seem to happen. Solution? 5 Answers
