Dealers set the sucker prices not CG's.
I went to one of your dealers and they would not sell me the vehicle for the list price. They wanted to add $1,999 above the listed price on car gurus. Is that how you work?
CG's has nothing to do with prices or ad information. This is simply a listing site.

If you look at the bottom of Guru's for price history, you'll see that dealers frequently change prices. I called two or three dealers today after documenting prices a couple of weeks ago. All of the vehicle prices had increased by $2,000.00 when quoted to me by the salesperson. I went back to Gurus and checked the price history...indeed, they had raised the prices. Also, remember that somewhere in every add it states that prices vary and are subject to buyer qualifications, as well as the applicability of dealer & manufacturer discounts. In other words, they include all possible discounts in the add to catch your eye (bait), even though every customer will not qualify, (switch) I.E., Military / Law Enforcement discounts, regional discounts, etc. Since they tell you - it's legal. As the other poster said...Gurus simply facilitates (and gets paid for) the listing. RCS
