Can I turn off the fasten seat belt beeping? I wear it, except while cruising around my small town of 3500 people.

ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT NO MATTER WHAT, 90% OF ACCIDENTS HAPPEN WITHIN 5 MILES OF YOUR HOME, WHY TAKE A CHANCE !

While it's true you should always wear your seat belt, it should be possible to turn off the audio warning. It depends on your car's make and year if it is possible. Usually, if it is possible, it involves removing a module.

I doubt the lawyers at Toyota will let you turn the warning off. It is too easy to get into an accident from someone running a red light or rear ending you so wear the belt. Even a 20mph accident could seriously injure you.
