Should you give up on Subaru ??

With all the oil consumption and CVT transmission issues, maybe it's time to
reconsider purchasing a new Subaru until all of these issues get resolved??
What do you think?? No one wants to spend $40,000 or more
on any automobile with inherent problems..

All Subaru has is their AWD system. They don't have looks, reliability, economy or performance.
F_O_R---. You know, that was a retorical question....... I didn't purchase an oil burning model..... I'll probably keep my 2010 as long as it's running fine and deal with anything that may come up... I'm very easy on my cars and don't abuse them. My car has 83,000 miles and is fairly low miles for an almost 8 year old car... It's in spectacular condition inside and out...and drives great.
At least Subaru does their own research and development.... Someone recently told me that Honda and Toyota frequently are just copying ideas from other manufacturers and their quality control is not up to Subaru's standards, especially in the area of implementation of safety standards.... They're reaction time to replace all the airbags is STALLING... apparently, the CEO apologized and asked for forgiveness about not acting sooner.. My 2010 Subaru Outback passenger side airbag has already been replaced!
Subaru has consistently won top awards for their "eye sight" automatic braking system.... What is your price on safety?? I personally know someone who hit an object at 45 mph and walked away from the accident unharmed. You can NOT do this in any car.
If the eye sight was working maybe they would not have hit something. I am not one of these people who fret over having the latest safety gimmicks. A car that has good braking and handling is my idea of safety.
