I have a new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The fuel economy gauge indicates in km/liters even though everything else (speedo and odometer) are reading in miles. I can't get that fuel to highlight in order to change. Cant find anything in the manual.

If you can't find it in the manual, ask your Jeep dealer.

Press the "controls" icon on the touchscreen, select "US Units". It will change to MPG.

You can set it to MPG in settings by going to Controls, Settings, Fuel Consumption, Units....but I can not get it to stay longer than 24 hours before reverting back to km/liters and until the US makes the move to metric, that is useless!

My 2017 does the same think since the last software update. Before that update it was fine.

I'm having the same problem. After switching back to miles per gallon, the car will switch to kilometers per liter after about a day. I have to go in the menu and reset.

I'm also having the same problem with losing mpg and slipping back to km/liter - does it almost every day. I did not have this problem before the first oil change, only after.

It is pointed out earlier in a response, but not with the full context. There are 2 places that you can select between metric and US units. One of the places is under Fuel Consumption units (Controls, Settings, Fuel Consumption, Units). In this place I chose MPG, but it switched back to Km/liter each and every day. In the other area is an overall selection or Metric or US (settings >> units . When I selected US units the problem went away (~3 weeks ago)

where is the fuel consumption unit are?? mine is the same problem.. My dealer even changed the radio but its still doing the same. I change from units and after few hours it reverts back. settings > units > km or us. I got this one. where is the other one ??

All of these answers are vague; go on the radio section in the middle of the car and select controls, then settings, then select US units and the indicator panel in the speedometer panel will change to MPG and MPH, which is really helpful here in the US.
