Radio has no sound
Asked by KyanaE Apr 23, 2018 at 05:53 PM about the 2017 Hyundai Tucson 1.6T Limited AWD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Sometimes when I turn my car on I have no sound
threw my radio, I've had to restart my vehicle 7x to
get it to work. I have a ten year warranty on my car,
Everytime I have it serviced they tell me everything
is working fine. But obviously it's not. Did I buy a
lemon?

Check Michael's answer from 3 years ago. He nailed it with a reset pin hole on the CD/Nav area. There is a little pink hole on mine just below the right side controls. I pushed a pen in and held for a few seconds and IT WORKED!!! My raidio has sounds again❣️
Sorry these a pin hole not pink.
I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 T limited/sport awd. My radio would come on but no volume. On the setup keys underneath the navigation screen, there's a do nothing button that says MAP on it, pop this button off and you'll find your sim card there, to the left there's a small reset button that you can push with a pen. This will reset your volume back!!!
Ya same issue shitbox no sound not even backup camera or safety controls. I heard it's an issue with the amplifier.
Brand new 2022 same issue, no rest pin on this newer Tuscon. Had to unplug battery and reset everything. Not happy that my NEW car having issues already albeit just sound it should have ZERO problems.

Also have a 1 month old 2022 Tucson and the radio just stopped working. I tried the reset with no success, so my husband disconnected tje negative battery cable for 10 minutes and it works perfectly again!
