im flushing my 1999 ford expedition 4.6l coolant how much water does it take to fill up

adding barsleaks to system to fix leaking head gasket just dont know how
much water to put back in to system when done

i always put 1 gallon of straight coolant and fill the rest up with distilled water. depending on where you live. if the weather gets colder then freezing often put mostly coolant/antifreeze.
