Asked by Jeremy May 28, 2022 at 07:10 AM about the 2006 Jeep Liberty Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 jeep liberty and it had sat over the winter and
it had a dead battery and I replaced it and now it won't start
or turn over and a red light is on the dash board, any ideas?

What is the red light? Anti theft? Did you add fuel additive to the tank, the fuel might be compromised. Draining and adding new fuel might help.

Make sure batt. terminals are tight , look for any obvious wiring problems , mice will invade even a daily driver .

Everything works but won't turn over and it won't come out of park , when I plug in my scanner it doesn't even recognize the key on.
