Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ordered a master cylinder for 99 explorer without cruise control.  They sent
one for a 99 explorer with cruise control.  Appears the cylinders are identical
except for the electrical connection on the side of the new one.  Question:
Can I use cylinder for cruise control even though the vehicle was build without
cruise control?

You can use the one with cruise control. If you had cruise control, you would not be able to use the one without it because the computer would be looking for the sensor signal
