Replace drive shaft & manifold

Asked by ocalaazpa Aug 04, 2021 at 05:03 PM about the 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am the second owner of a 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited with 140K miles on it. I
have owned the car for 7 months and have had to replace front end
components on it. Now I have to have the drive shaft assembly replaced and
the manifold. I really like the car but is it time for us to part ways? Help!

This all depends on what you need, want and can afford. A Jeep that is nearly 20 years old would be best replaced however these repairs are nothing out of line for a vehicle with 140k miles.

I think so. There comes a time when you're just throwing good money after bad. Every time you turn around it's something else! The vehicle spends more time in the shop than on the road! At that point it's cheaper in the long run to get a newer vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim
