Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Jeep Liberty that I have changed the starter,
battery, relay and also bypassed the ignition and relay
trying to get it to turn over and it still won't crank. All is does
is clicks. A fast clicking sound. Ran lead from battery to
starter thinking not enough Amps but still clicks. Cannot
get it to engage and turn over. Any one have any answers?

BTW...I took off new starter to ensure it was good and it pops up and turns when tested but once I install it...it will not crank the Jeep. Just......clicks fast.

after seeing that you checked the battery. the ground to the engine could be the culprit.double check all the grounds, especially the one directly from the battery, and all the ground straps behind the engine heads and firewall.

02 liberty will turn on but when it's off and try to turn on it clicks sounds like starter . Let it sit for awhile and it starts right up . Wondering if wiring is loose
