My headlights will not come on, either auto or manually. They were working until I set the parking brake, then released the parking brake. Since I released the parking brake, they do not work. Is there a way to bypass so lights will be on when the parking brake in engaged?

Could you have bumped something loose under the dash with your foot while applying the brake?

I checked that and could not see anything loose. I did notice that the fog lights work and the high beams work when I click them on the column.

Markr75--Soooo...I've got exactly the same problem. Did you ever get it figured out?

I had to take it to the dealer. The wires were melted at the multifunction switch in the steering column. They replaced the switch and it works now. Had nothing to do with the emergency brake.
