2003 jeep wrangler 4 cyl. tapping sound loose power oil guage flutter then all power lost why?

driving jeep when noise appeared sound like flapping noise maybe tapping i am
deaf in one ear started to loose power down shifted and notice oil guage dump
then come back up then fall again  loose of all power car rolled to stop wont
turn over clicking sound & oil in resv.level perfect. what would be flapping /
tapping sound then run to dead stop ?

(I might be wrong/hope I'm wrong), it sounds like your engine's locked up. Even with a correct oil level, if you drive with a malfunctioning oil pump, it can permanently mess up the bearings.
