Yes. The 4.0L engine was rated for up to 5,000 lbs. towing. Your aluminum boat and trailer should be no problem at all.
Considering I can tow that with my tdi jetta, a jeep should have no issue
I have a 14' Aluminum fishing boat and trailer. I want to put a hitch on my Jeep; can it haul a boat of this size?
