none! Jeeps are made to do that just fine, unlike other kinds of SUVs that u have to disconnect the driveshaft & all.. Just put both the trans and transfer case & neutral & go! Have fun!

Read your owners manual or contact Chrysler. You should be able to just shift the transfer case into neutral and tow it with you Jeep in Park or Neutral. We towed our Jeep behind our motorhome up to Alaska. It was great. Canada and the rest of the US has requirements for a braking system to stop or slow the vehicle being towed. We never used ours and no one asked about. Read up on Frost Heaves. Get a bra for the front of your Jeep to protect it from rocks your going up from your motorhome. Also, highly recommended to join an RV Caravan. We did and it made it safer, more fun, we saw more stuff and we were able to use our internet every night.

Make a rock shield for the front of your Jeep! The Alcan is a rough road with a lot of gravel. Make sure you have a couple of spare tires for both vehicles, a patch kit and an air compressor too! Adding Slime to the tires is probably a good idea. Take extra gas too.

Just a bit more. We towed a 2000 Cherokee behind our motorhome. We seldom needed it as the caravan had 15 passenger vans to take us places once we stopped. We never needed our 4 wheel drive on the Jeep up there. If you take your Jeep, you'll need a really good quality tow bar, the kind that has a small shock built into it. You need to get the lights wired to your motorhome. By law, you'll need a braking system for it although no one has ever checked for it at the border. Etralier.com has the hardware. Your Jeep and motorhome will show signs of wear when you get back from going air borne over the frost heaves. Our Cherokee bumper dropped an inch without anything being hooked to it. Good Luck

Yes the Jeep is great as a "Toed" dingy behind an RV and as the other reviews say the Trans and Transfer Case are both put in Neutral for Flat Towing. The tow bar A-frame used will be connected to the Jeep front bumper and the now towed Jeep gets connected by brake- lamp cable to the RV Trailer Towing Plug. Happy Travels.
