02 jeep wrangler. The blower only blows to the windshield. I can't change to setting to the floor or dash.

The blow with not change locations. It will only blow to the windshield. Even though it
move it to the dash or floor, it still blows to the windshield. The knob is in good working
condition. Are the vents clogged or is a switch bad?

check for a vacum leak.
Not sure how to do that.
clicking start the same time as the air direction malfunction ?
sometime that dashpot is under the dash all so
dash pot or vacumn lines under the dash for the direction problem and the clicking you descibe sounds like a lifter.. if you have changed oil recently try adding something like sea foam and if you haven't, change oil and add acleaner like sea foam or rislone.
