Hi! I have a 99 Ford Mustang, V6. Last week I had the car in idle when I noticed the lights going dim, the radio tuning in and out. As I was in motion the RPM's dropped and the car shut off for about 35-45 seconds before starting on its own again. But this time the engine sounded weaker and felt sluggish. I also noticed my dash board was reading incorrectly, for instance saying I had a full tank of gas when it was half full. Also, the engine light was off, something I had been dealing with for 2 months. The next day my power windows weren't working and the issue happened again after only driving it for a little over a block.I have not driven it since. Any suggestions on what could be causing the problem? 4 Answers

I have a1995 ford mustang GT 5.0. recently I was reving my engine, and just shortly after my car started bucking and hesitating. Almost dieing at a complete stop. If the stop was long enogh it would stop. I have changed the EGR valve, the IAC valve and the fuel regulator. Also I have replaced all of the hoses that go to the upper intake and the upper intake gasket. I just cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF sensor spray cleaner and now the the check enging light is on and it hesitates when I drive. but the rpms are steady as to where before they were all over the band. any Ideas 4 Answers

okay i have a 99 3.8l v6 5 speed mustang. when i start the car it vibrates out of the normal and when goin through the gears the shaking gets unbearable. i bought the car used guy said he had a mechanic put a different engine in it because the old one had a burnt valve claims to have had it balanced also. now i thought the motor mounts were bad and as i was gettin ready to change them a friend said to check the transmission bolts. come to find out there was 2 missin out of my transmission could this cause the spacer to be worn out or to have chewed up my flywheel? also car looks like it has been rear ended could this have bent the drive shaft or done something to the rear end?? also has had clutch replaced. what do i need to try?? iv replaced plugs plug wires rotated tires any help is much appreciated 2 Answers
